DPG-Young Scientist Award 2025 for Nathan Okole

The German Phytomedical Society (DPG) is awarding the Young Scientist Prize 2025 to Nathan Okole for his master's thesis "Use of imaging and non-imaging spectral sensors and machine learning for virus yellows phenotyping in sugar beet at greenhouse and field scale". The thesis includes a greenhouse study and the analysis of drone data from sugar beet fields. Following his master's thesis, he took up a PhD position at the IfZ. Congratulations to our colleague Nathan Okole!
